“It has been beyond fulfilling to be of service,” Beyoncé said.

Beyoncé may not be on tour yet, but she’s already making waves with her live shows. The Houston native has reportedly attached a philanthropic initiative to her forthcoming Renaissance Tour.

Two million dollars in proceeds will be put toward assisting students and small businesses. The Renaissance Scholarship Fund will distribute $100,000 to 10 different colleges and universities.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s Black Parade Route will distribute $1 million to “people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequities worldwide.” Grants awarded from the $1 million will be presented at luncheons during the tour.

“We are proud to announce the next phase as the Black Parade Route continues and journeys to various cities to support entrepreneurs through highly anticipated Black Parade Route luncheons,” a statement from Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD website reads.

One hundred entrepreneurs will be awarded grants at luncheons scheduled in London, New York, Chicago and Houston.

“We believe that everyone has the right to economic equity. And we are keenly aware of the barriers to access, opportunity, and resources that disproportionately impact BIPOC communities,” BeyGOOD Executive Director Ivy McGregor said.
