Chris Brown was left red-faced during a recent performance as he was left suspended above the crowd after a stage stunt appeared to go wrong – and he was not happy

Chris Brown’s recent New Jersey performance is one he won’t be able to erase from his memory any time soon.

The Look At Me Now rapper had everyone’s attention after an unexpected stage mishap left him hanging in mid-air during his Wednesday concert at Newark’s Prudential Center. As he performed his popular song Under the Influence, things took a wrong turn, and he looked visibly distressed as he called for assistance.

The show had to be temporarily halted as event staff used a large ladder to rescue the 35-year-old artist from his elevated position. During his unplanned aerial time, Brown continued to sing. TikTokers captured all the uncomfortable moments of this incident.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brown was quite “upset” with the situation and seemed to be expressing his frustration to someone backstage post-event. The video of this incident took the internet by storm, leaving fans in disbelief. One fan joked: “I like how he’s just hanging there like an angry fairy.”

Another added: “This man was hanging for a long — time before anyone realized he was stuck.” A third person noted: “He handled it SO professionally. definitely a safety hazard they shouldn’t got him quicker.”

“Just dangling like a Christmas ornament,” another joked. One person addressed Chris’ frustration, saying: “I don’t blame him .. things happen however as my staff get my down as soon as you see something is off ! .. they took too long got him just dangling there like a car air freshener on a mirror.”
