In an interview with The Guardian, π»πππππ πΊππππ revealed that the first expensive item she bought when she was new to the industry was the Lexus SC430 used by Regina George in Mean Girls. The reason behind this was Taylor’s desire to retaliate against the mean girls who mistreated her during her middle school years, as they all idolized the Plastics.
“I chose that car as a way to push back against those mean girls. It was like – those girls were always looking down on me, obsessed with the Plastics, talking and acting like the Plastics all the time. And instead of partying all night like they did, I worked hard and managed to buy a car myself. Guess which one I chose, the car that their idol Regina uses,” π»πππππ πΊππππ said.
