Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her first Father’s Day with her husband Travis Barker, following the birth of their son, Rocky, in the fall. The Kardashians star made a sweet post to celebrate her husband on the holiday, but she didn’t do the same for her ex, Scott Disick, whom she shares three children with.
“Happy Father’s Day @travisbarker!! Beyond grateful for the Dad that you are to our baby boy, and all of our kids. You keep us safe and protected and take care of us,” Kourtney captioned a carousel of images celebrating Travis.
It Was Kourtney And Travis’ First Father’s Day With Their Son
“Having a family with you is heaven,” she continued. “Happy to celebrate you!”
The first image in the series depicted the Blink 182 drummer relaxing in bed, cradling their son. Another photograph captured Travis on a private jet, tenderly holding the baby.
Additional pictures featured Travis interacting with Kourtney’s children, including a heartwarming shot of him on a beach with Rocky in his arms and Reign Disick standing beside him. The final two images showed Travis with Rocky on the beach and in what appeared to be a green room.
Fans Were Surprised Kourtney Didn’t Mention Scott
One fan queried, “What about Scott???” Another expressed disappointment, saying, “And nothing to the man who is a fantastic father to your other three kids…?? Sad.” A third commenter asked, “Uh where’s the shoutout to the father of 75% of ur kids??”
Another critic pointed out, “Way to exclude his three other children,” noting that Travis’s other kids, Landon, Alabama, and Atiana, were absent from the post.
However, a defender of Kourtney responded: “My Gosh I see so many of you asking about Scott in the post like she has to acknowledge him at all specially on a post dedicated to her actual husband the one who did actually marry her and seems to make her HAPPY,” the comment began.
“Which let me just remind y’all how much Scott humiliated her through the years they were together so no she doesn’t need to talk/post about him if she doesn’t feel like it,” they added.
While Kourtney’s lack of a shout-out for Scott may have surprised some fans, the former couple have a long, complicated history. And now with Kourtney remarried with a new baby, it adds context to why Scott didn’t get a post from Kourtney, unlike past years following their 2015 break-up.
Scott was vocal about wanting to win Kourtney back after their split, following many years of cheating allegations, but it never happened. While Scott didn’t get a Father’s Day message from Kourtney, he was included in momager Kris Jenner’s post, which also mentioned Tristan Thompson, much to the shock of fans who pointed out his other baby mamas have accused him of being an absentee dad.
