Chris Brown ‘gets angry’ as he shouts at stage crew after being STUCK suspended in air on wires during New Jersey concert

A video of Chris Brown angrily confronting stage staff after being stuck in the air on suspension wires during a concert has gone viral.

The 35-year-old singer  — who recently claimed he was disinvited to the NBA All -Star Celebrity Game — can be seen suspended over the stage by wires while performing at New Jersey‘s Prudential Center on Wednesday, per a clip shared by @terriem89.

The Grammy winner was left dangling in the air while belting out Under The Influence after the wires malfunctioned.

Despite his evident frustration with the mishap, gesturing angrily at someone off-stage, Brown continues singing the track while his backup dancers perform below.

A ladder was swiftly brought to the stage, allowing Brown to descend and complete his song, though he engaged in a verbal exchange with one of the crew members who had assisted with bringing the ladder.

The video was captioned: ‘This man was hanging for a long ass time before anyone realized he was stuck.’

A different video detailing another angle of the incident was originally shared by The Hollywood Reporter.

THR reported that Brown told the crowd he was ‘angry’ at the end of the two-hour concert, but ‘also made light of the situation’.

Brown’s 11:11 tour will wrap up with two performances at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on August 6th and 7th.

The viral video comers after the singer cried foul after he claimed he was disinvited to play in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

He blamed sponsor squeamishness about his violent past as a reason he was allegedly asked and then dropped from the annual game of hoops.

‘I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors like Ruffles,’ he claimed.

‘At this point, I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m sick of living in the f**king past.

Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna, now 35, in a well-publicized incident in 2009.

He agreed to a plea deal which required community service, domestic violence counseling and five years’ probation.

In 2012, he was involved in a brawl at a New York nightclub with Drake, NBA star Tony Parker and members of their entourages.  Eight people were injured but no criminal charges were filed.

That same year, he got into trouble for violating a restraining order and attending the same Halloween party as Rihanna. He was dressed as an Islamic terrorist.

In 2014, while in rehab for anger management issues, Brown was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

THR reported that Brown told the crowd he was ‘angry’ at the end of the two-hour concert, but ‘also made light of the situation’.

He was later kicked out of the facility for violating ‘internal rules,’ and sentenced to 131 days in jail for violating his probation.

A series of other legal issues continued to crop up, including charges he texted threats to former girlfriend Karrueche Tran, now 35, in 2017.  The Bel Air actress was granted a five year restraining order.

In 2021, police responded to his home after a woman called for help saying she had been struck in the back of the head. TMZ and the Los Angeles ABC affiliate identified that man as Brown.
