For a time, the couple appeared to be going strong, which is why fans were shocked when they announced the end of their marriage. It was even more shocking when Ryan moved on so quickly with Blake. This set off rumors that they both had an onset affair.

The couple has rejected the claims. In fact, Ryan and Blake didn’t start dating until after filming had wrapped up. They understood they had feelings for each other when they went on a double date with other people.

It suggested that Scarlett believed Blake stole Ryan from her. Another source suggested that Scarlett believed she and Ryan could have worked things out, but he lost interest when she was romantically linked to actor Sean Penn in the middle of their divorce. Scarlett was angry that he was not under her spell anymore. She then realized what a great catch Ryan was. Ryan would have gotten back with her; he was so fully in love. But then she presented Sean right after their split, and Ryan was done with Scarlett.

Since the split, she began dating French businessman Romain Dauriac in November 2012, and they were married from 2014 to 2017. The former couple welcomed a daughter, Rose, in 2014. Since 2020, Scarlett has been married to Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, whom she started dating in mid-2017. The couple also welcomed their son, Cosmo, in 2021.

Remembered for keeping quiet on her private life, 𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕 𝑱𝒐𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏 rarely addressed her short-lived wedding to Ryan. But soon after their divorce, the actress revealed she doesn’t have any grave. Even though it didn’t work out, in an interview, the actress said, “I’m a big believer that when something feels right, you should do it. I’m a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was normal. It grew out of a romance and love and a feeling to have a future with somebody. And I was very lucky that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be.” She then added, “Relationships are complicated, and being married is a living, breathing process. I think I was not fully informed of the peaks and valleys. I wasn’t ready to hunker down and do the work. Both of us were extremely busy. We spent so much time apart.”

Fans will never know exactly what went wrong between Ryan and Scarlett, but what is clear is that the actors have found love with other people and now have lovely families. So even if things ended early with hard feelings, it’s just a sad past at this point.
