Taylor Swift revealed another special edition, titled The Albatross, of her upcoming album Tortured Poets Department, during her recent performance in Sydney (Australia).
Audiences at the Sydney concert also enjoyed a special duet between Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.
Starting with a short story, Sabrina Carpenter talked about her cover of Taylor Swift’s White Horse in 2008: “It was the first song I learned to play.” The two then performed a medley with the song Coney Island.

The surprise not only appeared on stage but also spread to the audience. Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, athlete Travis Kelce, also appeared in the crowd. In addition, female singers Rita Ora and Katy Perry were also present in the stands.
After finishing the performance, Taylor Swift shared the cover image of the special edition on Instagram. It was a black and white photo of her standing in front of a body of water, with the words “Am I allowed to cry?” (Am I allowed to cry?).
The album Tortured Poets Department is the follow-up to 2022’s Midnights album and is expected to be released on April 19, 2024.

This is the 3rd edition of the album Tortured PoetsDepartment. She initially announced it with The Manuscript version at the Grammy Awards, and then with The Bolter version during her performance in Melbourne (Australia) in early February.
