When an accident occurs, the body takes some time to return to normalcy. Our muscles must adapt to movement after long periods of immobility, and this varies greatly depending on the damage caused to the body. For some, it’s impossible to return to normal.
One of the most influential factors in recovery times is the determination to achieve that goal, and this little dog is completely determined to keep living each day like never before.
This is Super Corgi Jojo.
Jojo was attacked by two dogs. He barely survived the attack, and since then, veterinarians didn’t have much faith in achieving a full recovery for the dog.
His owner says the only thing veterinarians could think of to help the dog regain fluency in his motor skills was rehabilitation therapy.
They tried hydrotherapy and any kind of rehabilitation technique to heal poor Jojo, and that’s how the veterinarian suggested taking the dog to the beach. After all, it was exactly the same exercise, but he would be in a more relaxed environment that both his owners and he could enjoy.
Jojo loves his visits to the beach.
His owner is not the kind of person who frequently visits the beach, but she was willing to do everything possible for her little dog, and that’s how Jojo discovered his passion in life.
At first, they just put a life jacket on him and started swimming with him until they saw other dogs surfing on the same beach, so they decided to join in the fun with Jojo.
From the beginning, the little dog took a liking to it.
Since then, surfing and visiting the beach has become a family activity that has brought them even closer than before. What impresses his owner the most is how good he is at surfing.
She says people used to say that Jojo’s ability was because he’s a corgi and therefore his body is closer to the surface of the board, but she knew that what made the little dog good was his skill and nothing else.

The idea spun around in her head so much that she even tried to get her other dog, who is also a corgi, to surf, and as she had imagined, the story was completely different because he always jumped off the board and couldn’t maintain balance.
With Jojo, this isn’t a problem; she says he adjusts his paws and balances with the movement of the waves to maintain equilibrium. Jojo has become a very good surfer over time.
The little dog has even participated in competitions.
Surfing has been the best therapy for him, as he finally healed all his physical and emotional wounds; now Jojo has much more confidence. Four years have passed since the incident, and his owners couldn’t be happier after feeling so much uncertainty about their little dog’s fate.

But Jojo didn’t stop there; now he has led his owner to do many things she never thought she was capable of doing. They have gone skiing, kayaking, and rock climbing. She says she never would have thought of doing those kinds of things, and now he is the one helping her live her best possible life.
