Traveling can bring many benefits, from better social development, more experiences to share and enjoy, learning about new cultures and beliefs, or simply going on excursions to nearby places to admire the beauty of the landscape, which brings great satisfaction.
For many people, this is a life mission, but for many others, it is kept as a lifestyle, making their travels something ordinary. In Colorado, a hiker named Cynthia Bennet, along with her boyfriend, was looking to adopt a dog in 2014 to accompany them on their future trips.
Bennet was thinking of adopting a Golden Retriever or a mix of one, but then she saw Henry, a 14-week-old puppy, at an animal protection organization shelter.

Cynthia and Henry have been traveling together since 2014 throughout Colorado.
Both were fascinated with Henry and decided to adopt him to be their company on trips throughout the state of Colorado. After many journeys and travels, the couple decided it was time to expand the hiking group and began looking for a new member; the new addition is a mixed Siamese kitten named Baloo.
Baloo, the newest member of the hiking group, will live many adventures with them.
Baloo has adapted very well to his new lifestyle.
Henry and Baloo, despite being a dog and a cat, get along very well. When they introduced the kitten to Henry, they loved each other a lot; in fact, Baloo is in love with the dog and always seeks him out for protection, and Henry is always ready to be her guardian. They are undoubtedly perfect travel companions.
They are inseparable travel buddies.
The spirit of explorers they both have is clearly evident.
“I receive many questions about how we got our dog used to socializing with the cat. But he really loves her. He enjoys hanging out with his new friend; if I touch Henry’s leash, Baloo starts scratching at the door to go out just the same,” says Cynthia Bennet.

Baloo has only been traveling for a few months, but he has already visited many places.
The trips around Colorado are posted by an Instagram account managed by Cynthia called “henrythecoloradodog,” where the human couple portrays the pet couple during the most surprising and beautiful excursions that may exist.

Colorado is one of the places in the United States with the greatest geographic diversity, and this has allowed us to see different ecosystems in the photos of Henry and Baloo, from rocky mountains to vast plains.
