Archaeologists have recently discovered the world’s oldest mummy, the Gabilian Man, in Upper Egypt. He was found in a shallow grave covered with stone slabs, dating back to 3400 to 3100 BCE. The Gabilian Man’s body is well-preserved, including his red hair, earning him the nickname Ginger. He was buried with a simple kilt made of linen, which provides insight into the clothing styles of the period.
