Miraculous transformation: Danu named it Boroque and immediately started treating it.
Under Boroque’s downy fur, you can only feel his bones because he is so underweight. They quickly discovered that Boroque had Demodex mange, sometimes just called ‘Demodex’ or ‘red scabies’.
This caused his face to become swollen, infected, and unable to open his eyes.
Its fur is also flaky on the rest of its body, especially on its legs. It’s so horrible that if anyone touches it, his hair will fall out.
Sadly, Boroque was also very weak and his stomach was full of parasites. Treatment is not easy at all.
They had to give him special food with vitamins and antibiotics, special baths, and pray that he could survive.
After two weeks of treatment, Boroque started to feel better.
Its eyes gradually opened, it began to wag its tail and even became friendly with other dogs.
It’s a great improvement but there’s still a long way to recover against Boroque.
