Lalit’s mother, 42-year-old Parvatibai Patidar, shared her experience, stating, “In the first half-hour of Lalit’s birth, I was extremely surprised to see his body covered with so much hair. We immediately requested the pediatrician to check, and the doctor said that the child had Hypertrichosis syndrome and there was no way to completely cure it.
He is a different boy but still very special to me. I have five daughters, and my husband and I prayed at many temples to have a son. And our prayers were answered when Lalit was born.”

Even though she’s gotten used to her condition, Lalit still has bad days because of her excess hair. Lalit’s father, Mr. Bakanlal, a celery and garlic farmer currently 45 years old, said, “When Lalit was 2 years old, I took my child to a big hospital in Baroda for examination and treatment. After the check-up, the doctor told me that there is currently no way to completely eliminate this syndrome, but if they find any method, they will notify me.”
It is known that at school, Lalit was a good student and a very active boy who liked sports. Lalit’s principal, Mr. Babulal Makwana, said, “Lalit is a boy who is quite good in studies and excels in sports. He is very popular in class, and everyone cares about him.”
